about ME

My ideas for my work revolve around the body and it's image, and how it can be manipulated. With myself being my own model, I show how the nude body can express the struggles and hardships of being and living inside the body of a woman. Such things include the painful yet beautiful moments that can be experienced. I aim to create art that not only women, but many others can see and feel how much emotion comes from our flesh and bones.

I grew up in East Texas, and around a family that raised deer but also hunted them. Heavy within my work, I’ve decided to incorporate the graceful creature into disturbing works of art so that I may compare the aspects of deer and women.
